1/2 Day Drives

Half Day Drives | Morning/Afternoon
Kruger Park Open Vehicle Drive

This is an ideal Open Vehicle Safari that is not too long and gives a great opportunity to see a wide range of animal and bird species in the south of the Kruger National Park. This drive is about 5-6 hours long and includes a breakfast stop of approximately an hour. We will make our way through the grasslands, thickets and riverine bush of Crocodile Bridge and Lower Sabie area in Kruger National Park.

The Big 5, who are all magnificent in their own unique way, as well as plains’ game like giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, warthog, impala and kudu, are often seen in the area around Crocodile Bridge and Lower Sabie camps, in the Kruger National Park. On occasion we might even spot some cheetah, hyena or wild dog.  While it’s impossible to guess or predict the various wildlife sightings and experiences, each open vehicle Kruger safari is an experience, that can be so many things all wrapped up into one and a new chance to capture nature.  Allow our guides to introduce you to the magic of the Kruger National Park!

Even if you are one of those who struggles to leave the sanctuary of your bed before the sun is almost overhead, you will not regret getting up early on a Kruger safari. It’s the best time for game viewing. In the summer months, this can be as early as 5 am, or around 6 am in the cooler winter months. It is important to note that time varies depending on season.  For those that prefer to get up later, the afternoon drive will be ideal.

Although we operate mostly in the south and central parts of the Kruger National Park, we are not limited to it and special requests are welcome.

*** Please note that a minimum of 2 people (Adult rates) are required to book a drive.
